Description

The KUKA 00-119-763 is an SBM2 Single Brake Module for external-axis brake control. In a KUKA system using KSD servo drives, it allows the brakes of asynchronous external axes to be controlled independently of the robot and synchronous external axes.

The module includes CAN, I/O and brake connections. The documentation specifies use with DSE-IBS-C33 servo electronics and suitable KSD drives. It forms part of brake management for configurations where several drives share a KPS supply.
